ABOUT REGENT SOCCER CLUB


Regent Soc­cer Club, Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 youth soc­cer orga­ni­za­tion based in the near west side of Madi­son. 


Regent offers programs for players 6U through 19U. 

Use the chart below, to determine which program players should register for.


Registration for each playing year takes place in May, and teams* play both in the Fall and Spring.

*Exception: high school girls are Fall-only & high school boys are Spring-only.


Regent's goal is to allow play­ers to develop a love for the game by promoting an inclusive, safe, fun, and afford­able, player-centered environment.

We believe that our soccer environment should:

*Players born in 2019 (7U) AND entering Kindergarten during the Fall (2025) are permitted to play on 6U "Kinde" teams.

**As permitted by MAYSA, players born in 2011 (15U) AND entering 8th grade for the Fall 2025 school year can play on a 14U team in either the Gold or Blue program.

Any 2011 (15U) players entering high school must play in the High School program.

OVERVIEW OF PROGRAM OPTIONS:
  • 6U "Kinde"

    The 6U "Kinde" age group is for players in 4K and Kindergarten.


    6U teams play in our In-House league against Shorewood and other Regent teams.


    Teams are coached and managed by parent volunteers.

     7U & 8U teams  are either co-ed or all-girls.


    7U & 8U teams play in our In-House league against Shorewood and other Regent teams.


    Teams typically practice once per week and are coached and managed by parent volunteers.

  • 9U & 10U Alliance

    The 9U & 10U age groups are either co-ed or all-girls.


    9U & 10U Alliance league teams play against Shorewood, Middleton United, and other Regent teams.


    Teams typically practice once or twice per week and are coached and managed by parent volunteers.


    This program is considered "Recreational"

  • 9U & 10U MAYSA

    The 9U & 10U age groups are either co-ed or all-girls.


    9U & 10U MAYSA teams play in the MAYSA league against teams up to an hour away.


    Teams practice twice per week - once with a licensed (paid) trainer, and once with a parent volunteer coach.


    This program is considered both "Developmental" and "Recreational"

    MAYSA 9/10 Program Info
  • 11U-14U Gold

    11U-14U Gold teams are either co-ed or all-girls.


    No tryout is required for this program.


    Teams practice twice per week - once with a  licensed (paid) trainer, and once with a parent volunteer coach.


    Gold program teams play in the MAYSA league against teams up to an hour away.


    This program is considered both "Developmental" and "Recreational"

  • 11U-14U Blue

    11U-14U Blue teams are either co-ed or all-girls.


    Players must try out for this program.


    Teams practice twice per week with a paid coach.


    Blue program teams play in the MAYSA league against teams up to an hour away.


    Teams will participate in 1-2 tournaments per season.

  • High School

    High School teams are either all-girls, or all-boys. 


    High School club teams play during the opposite season from their school's season: 


    Girls play in the Fall; Boys play in the Spring.


    Teams are not formed using an in-person tryout - players must sign up in PlayMetrics to indicate their interest first, offers and registration occur separately.


    Teams are two-sport and other activity friendly, have a paid coach, and will play in the MAYSA League against teams up to an hour away.

  • Training Opportunities

    Regent offers many additional training opportunities to players throughout the playing year.

    Some additional training options include: Goalie Training, Friday Futsal (winter), and Skills training.
